Xbox live gold payment time not working

Hello,

The Gold trial is associated with a single gamertag and can’t be added to an existing membership, also if you have already used the Gold trial for three times you can't use it anymore.

to add a payment option to your Xbox Live account you should follow the steps in this support link:

support.xbox.com/.../add-xbox-live-payment-option

If you got gold from another region then no you can't use a different payment method

For example if you have a cad payment method but bought a cheaper us discount code jt wont work your payment method must match the gold

Or if you aren't in a xbox live region this applies too

You have to live in a xbox xgu region and have a payment method from that region

The Microsoft account balance is not set up to work with a recurring subscription so it's not a valid payment method for gold through Live. Prepaid gold cards are only set up to give you the time they are for, not currency. You would need an Xbox gift card
to add currency to your account.

As far as Gears of War, are you trying to find it on the 360 or the One?

Even though the Xbox Live Gold trial subscription is free, we need a payment option on file because the subscription will renew to a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription unless you cancel it. You must add a payment option such as a credit card or PayPal to your
account for it. If you don’t want a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription after your Xbox Live Gold trial subscription ends, you will need to cancel it.
