Xbox live gold pass not working!?!?

I had a 2-day xbox live gold pass. I redeemed it in game and it said it worked. Then, I tried to do a multiplayer mission and it said I had to upgrade to xbox live!! I restarted my system and everything but it still says I have silver account. Please help
or fix!!!!

Yes you will need Xbox live. It works out at around £3.33 a month.

Keep your eye out for some bargains on Xbox live.

I think you might still get a 1 month free pass when you set your account up via the Xbox.

You can currently get a 12 + 1 Month Xbox Live Gold Membership from CDKeys for £29.90.

Trials do not change your account status to gold. They only give you access to some benefits of online multiplayer. Not all multiplayer modes will work with a trial and some trials will only work with the game they came with.

If you have xbox live gold and xbox game pass than it should work. If not maybe not work.

I had purchased the xbox live gold membership of 12 months ( estimated retail prize $59.99) from the store with my console, 2 game pads, and xbox game pass.

Everything came in a pack, yet the purchased live gold works but the game pass does not work.

Hi Jpzivot,

Your Xbox Live Gold subscription and Xbox Game Pass are bundled together. If you are paying for Game Pass then Gold comes included. This doesn't work the other way around. Hope this helps.

Game Pass Ultimate contains Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, EA Play (XBOX & PC), Cloud Gaming, and Xbox Live Gold. So yes, it will work on Xbox and PC.

with Xbox Live Gold you get 3 free Games With Gold each month that are yours to play as long as you have an active Live Gold subscription. if you play any of those games then you will want to keep Live Gold

with Xbox Game Pass you have access to all the games in the Game Pass library. if you play any of those then you will want to keep Game Pass

as the others have said, there is a new service which combines Live Gold and Game Pass called Ultimate Game Pass (which works out cheaper than the 2 separate subscriptions)

if you upgrade to Ultimate Game Pass it will convert any Live Gold and/or Game Pass you have into Ultimate Game Pass.

do not cancel Ultimate Game Pass as it does not give you back the separate Gold and Game Pass that was converted.

it's best to turn off recurring billing and just let the Ultimate Game Pass run out if you wish to go back to only using Game Pass or Gold.
