    Xbox live gold paid -- but it's not registering


    I recently had my XBL Live Gold auto Renew -- and land for -- except the Xbox doesn't seem to recognize it at all.

    When I go to memberships it looks like I am not a member of XBL at all, except when I go to subscriptions in the settings area it clearly says I have paid for it.

    I got charged for xbox live but it claims that I do not have Xbox live membership

    I was debited 10 dollars for xbox live and the transaction went through.

    Great.

    Problem?

    When I try to do Xbox live activities, it claims that I need to get Gold membership. Thing is, I paid for that, so why is it not registering?

    My subscription to Xbox Gold is not active even though it says it's paid for.

    Good evening,

    My subscription to Xbox Live Gold is registering as paid for on the subscription manager screen. Yet, whenever I try to access any Gold service it tells me I have to subscribe. Hence, I'm confused. What happened to my subscription?

    I paid Xbox Live Gold without credit card and only with balance that I have. In addition, Xbox Live Gold allows the desactivation of periodic billing.

    Why doesn't the Xbox Game Pass allow it?

    No you can't, you need either a pre paid Xbox Live Gold card or a credit/debit card or PayPal registered on your account to do so.
    This used to be the case but has since changed somewhat recently. Users can now add a subscription with money on their account as pointed out by WPAK.
