Xbox Live Gold on 360 and One

I have both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. My Year Subscription to xbox Live will be expiring the start of next month. I just wanted to confirm when i buy another 12 months Gold it will be for my xbox live account thus both consoles will have access to Gold
as to the current situation when i purchased the xbox one and it was linked to my account.

The main question i have is do I redeem my code on my 360 as i usually do, my xbox one or the website Xbox.com

Yes, when you get a new subscription you can use the gold on both consoles. You can redeem the 12 months anywhere you want. It's attached to your account so it'll show up on both consoles.

Hi there,

But, on PC, the Xbox live gold is not needed to play online. The FAQ says the Live Gold is required only in Xbox One and 360.
