Xbox Live Gold NOT Working!

Hi Gillette, I appreciate that it's nothing that can be solved either here or by customer support however the frustration is that I've been lied to on so many different occasions. I have had 3 different dates given to me by tech support (or at least the
notes on my account) and each time that date has passed and they haven't even had the courtesy to put an update of any sort. To be honest I don't even know if the issue is being investigated, there is nothing to prove either way!

If this had affected a large number of accounts Microsoft would have been all over it as they'd have feared a PR disaster, however as it's only affecting a 'handful' of accounts they're just not bothered. They couldn't care less whether we go over to Playstation
etc as it's not a big deal.

 

The reason support does not seem helpful is because once it is escalated, a date is posted to the request when it is triaged and at that point it is up to the Tier 3 support to resolve the issue and contact you. The agents you are able to speak with have
very limited information and can only inform you of what they see, which is not much. If a resolution is not found, Tier 3 support in most circumstances will not contact you until they find a resolution, which makes it seems like nothing is being done even
when it is escalated.

Please be mindful of this when contacting support as they do try their best to assist you with what they are able to see and do.

 

Hi ZeroAvix, I do totally understand that and I have been very patient with the guys on the phone as I know they can't do anything. Actually patient to all bar the guy who just told me not to ring again and I was wasting his time, he was about as unhelpful
as I've ever dealt with.

The issue I am facing is that notes are being made on my account by the 'higher powers' that are still not being stuck to, they're just not taking it seriously. To be out of action for over 10 days just doesn't seem right especially as there hasn't been
a single piece of feedback to even help the guys on the phone give me an update!

 

Been onto support on twitter and they were unaware of this issue i have asked them to help they have asked can all suffering with this issue contact them there at @XboxSupport1

 

I just put in my new Xbox

live gold and it said "great now you can go online with Xbox live gold" so I tried and it said "get a new Xbox live subscription before you can play."
