Xbox Live Gold NOT Working!

When I try doing anything that involves Xbox Live (Multiplayer, party,etc...) it says I need gold when I have it. At first I though it was odd because my gold shouldn't run out until around October - January but I was going to add a 3 day trial for a little
bit. I put in the code and it said something with the words, "You have Xbox Live, go share it with a friend." HELP?

Sadly you won't get any help with this issue. There are a few of us in the same boat and getting no support for this issue.

 

Hello op , indeed this is an issue many are experiencing, as it is an account issue the only people who can help you are telephone support as they have access to account information whereas we the ambassadors don't.

Support are aware of the issue and will start an investigation once you call them - they need about 5-10 days to rectify (as this is what a few have been told).

Good luck if you need the number just ask.

 

Sorry but this isn't true they have done nothing to help me.

 

How long have you given them as they are helping people , but this is not just a handful that have been affected. As they are the only ones with account access they are the ones to sort it .

 

You won't get any support on the phone or at least you won't with UK support. I have just been told that they are no longer offering support on this issue and I now have to wait for the tech support lot in Seattle to deal with me.

This is now the 8th day and I've had nothing from tech support despite being told that I would get an update or the account sorted by Friday. That date came and went and I've still had nothing.

The service from Microsoft is a disgrace in this particular instance.

 

This is heading towards ten days, No point in having a console that won't let you be a GOLD member if it's all online based. No one has even contacted me or acknowledged to let me know what is happening with progress. Console just sat there collecting dust
feeling sorry for it's self but will soon go on eBay and someone else can play Xbox Live (if they can get it working) if this isn't resolved.

I'll mannered practice and it seems like no loyalty from Microsoft as a company.

 

Artemidorus, the guy I spoke to today actually got quite shirty with me for having the nerve to ring up and question why everything was taking so long and pretty much told me not to ring about it again! Apparently I just have to sit here and wait for tech
support to 'get round to it' and then maybe I'll get online at some point.

This is some of the worst customer service I've experienced yet Microsoft just don't care.

Well today is judgement day I guess Check the Xbox Live Service MOJO let me know if it works out for you.

 

Most of the time if you are receiving this error there is a few things to try before contacting support. The first would be powering down your system, unplugging it for 10-20 seconds, and then letting it boot up again. After doing this, go to Settings and
go to the right to remove your profile.

After removing the profile from the Xbox One console, go to sign in and 'Add New' to re-add your profile. This resolves most of these problems.

If this continues at this point, contact support as they may have to cancel your current subscription and send you a prepaid code to re-enable your subscription to get the system to recognize it again.

 

ZeroAvix - the tech/customer support received with regards this issue is nothing less than pathetic.

It is nothing that can be fixed by powering off/deleting profiles and cannot even be fixed with the help of support as it requires someone higher up to actually go into your account and manually 'fix' it.

So far I have been without Gold since Sunday 16th March and have repeatedly been lied to in terms of 'we will feed back' and 'the issue will be resolved by'....so far absolutely nothing and if it wasn't for the fact that I have so many friends with Xbox's
I would be selling and going for a PS4.

Microsoft, I know you won't be reading this however you are an embarrassment.

 

i really feel for anyone suffering with this issue - and know no system re-boot is going to fix it - it is out of the ambassadors and the customers hands . I really hope you do get the support you all need and that this outcome is fixed with a decent goodwill
gesture too.
