It is an absolute nightmare - but i'm going to keep pushing this to keep raising awareness i'm lucky its not happened to me but id be devastated if it did - so truly feel for you all.

That's been done but Gillette I think this needs to go to a team who deals with coding it's an account issue.

Makes no sense to me all the codes I have are active they will not work yet the trial codes do work.

I am getting frustrated that I am just answering the same questions over and over even though I have explained it very clearly.

What I am even more annoyed about is that even though it's been escalated I have not had a single bit of feedback from 'Tech Support' even though it has been promised to me. I can't believe that in over 10 days they could not have sent an email to update
on the work that has been done etc.

As above, I have managed to get Gold via the odd 3 day/7 day code I have found in old boxes and from friends however if I try and get my own subscription it's just not possible. Given that this is an issue caused my Microsoft i.e. I didn't do anything to
cause it, I am deeply unhappy how it has been handled.

Sadly I cannot feed this back to anyone as there are no numbers for tech support etc!

Just an update on this.

I have just had a call back from customer services as they have spoken to the technical services based in the US. Basically they are the most unhelpful bunch of human beings in the world...that's the tech guys, not the customer services guys.

The message was that even though I have been offline for 2 weeks they can't give me an update or a timeline on when my account will be fixed. Basically it will be ready when they get round to it and until that point I just have to be patient!!

On one hand apparently there aren't enough people suffering from this issue for it to be formally acknowledged yet on the other they're saying that there are lots of people suffering from this issue which is why it's taking so much time to fix!! Make up
your mind, which is it?!! I'm not going to hold my breath for an update and I'm seriously considering my future as a customer given the service that I have service.

Well been contacted by Xbox Customer Advocacy Team at the Microsoft Corporate Office they claim nothing is wrong even though I have replied back and told them it's still not working. Anyone on here know what is the next stage beyond these guys??

What a joke. So the fact that you had a working Gold subscription that just disappears....then you get valid codes from the Xbox support team that also do not work yet trial codes do and there isn't a problem?!!

This sounds as though we're going to get royally *** over on this if they can't see that there is an issue.

Just a little update MOJO, Xbox Global Escalation Support have now taken over this issue, take a picture of the error using print screen feature on keyboard, paste it on paint etc by redeeming code on Xbox.com

Send it in to one of the Chat Support people and explain you want to know what the error is. Person in the building who is in charge has no idea what mine was and it's had to be passed on to another team completely.

It's important to let them know as the guys in Chat Support do not know what the code means.

would you humour me and just pop a quick tweet to @xboxsupport 1#pc stating you were directed there for help with the gold account issue as im watching their tweets to help get it resolved -

we may get no where - so no different to now , but if it does then surely its worth it.

I thank you helping but I have done this they just ask details and then say it's been noted and will be contacted.

In the years of having this I can only presume it's an account issue.

I'd rather Microsoft explain there is something wrong and working on it rather than tell me it's ok and will contact you later only to get nowhere, I contact them almost daily not to be a pain but I want it to be noted on a scale something should be done.

That's not true I spoke to them about this on Mar 21st. I quote "Alright cool, thank you. We're gonna take a look into this and let you know when we have more info. ^CR"

8 days later and I finally found a way to play GOLD for 14 days. I have a trial and it has a QR code used it on the camera and it works. I need to find a way of getting these codes as a QR code....
