    I bought Xbox live gold on my Xbox a couple of months ago and it has suddenly stopped working when I try to download a game.What should I do ??Please help

    Your profile does not have the correct permissions

    I am having the same issue. Got my son the game for Christmas and he is still not able to play it. Xbox live is working.what is this "correct permission to access Xbox live" ? Please advise!!!

    Sorry to hear you're seeing issues with your Xbox Live Gold status. Please be sure to check that it hasn't expired, you can see if it is expired by going to Mange my Microsoft Subscriptions.
    Additionally, make sure you aren't having issues with your internet connection. This can be done from the Xbox following this instructions:

    Network Settings on Xbox One    .

    If everything still looks good after those steps, then we recommend contacting chat or phone support directly regarding your Xbox Live Gold status. Hopefully this gets resolved

    Hi Jim_23,

    It should only do that if you are part of the Xbox Live Gold Ultimate subscription. When you look at your account, you should see Live Gold and GamePass are treated as two separate subscriptions and renewing Live Gold should not change that.
