Discus and support Xbox Live Gold - Not working shows as Silver account in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So end of last month I renued the Account to Gold status for FREE 1 Month.     Xbox Live Gold - Not working shows as Silver account


    So end of last month I renued the Account to Gold status for FREE 1 Month. The next renewal is 26th of this Month.

    Why is it showing i dont have gold on marketplace or my homepage. aswell as can't play online or play my games for gold yet on the Microsoft status screen on

    Xbox Live Confusion?

    Xbox Live is free.

    You can make a Gold account, or a Silver account.

    The Gold account gives you access to access to play online, along with free monthly games and weekly deals. This has a fee.

    The Silver account gives you access to Xbox Live and apps, but you just can't play online or get the free games. This is free.

    Do i need xbox live

    To rent or buy films? I'm not sure you do need to buy a Gold account. Silver would do for that, surely? Silver accounts are free.

    And no one needs to pay more than about £30 annually if they ever did want to subscribe to Gold, which is £2.50 per month.

    If this is the account you're trying to use, it's showing as a silver member. You need gold to play on live.

    It currently shows that you have a silver account. In order to play online multiplayer over Xbox LIVE, you must have a Gold Subscription.

    If this is the account that you are trying to use, you can't play on Live. You are showing as a silver(free) member. You need to have a gold membership in order to play on Xbox Live.

    Don't think that will work. You'll need at the minimum, a Silver Xbox Live account (it's free), I believe. I've had a Gold for 9 years, never had a Silver.
