Xbox live gold not working - even though I've already had and used it for nearly a month.

I have purchased Xbox live gold. I have used it for a long time. I used to last night around 9pm. It doesn't work today. Completely random. I'm past the point of free subscription and have been for a bit. I tested my internet connection and everything else
available to test on the settings menu. Every time I try to access online gameplay, I get a message saying that my account doesn't have access to that feature. On my account online, it says that I have completed a yearlong xbox live gold purchase on 3/18.

I've not used live for about a month ( bored of the same games) fancied a bit of Battlefield with a 48 hour trial I had lying round and at first it said I already have Gold. Next minute it worked but my XB1 is acting as if I don't even have XBL Gold. Tried

Xbox live not working even though I've purchased it

I purchased a three month Xbox live card, however when I try to use it within any game, it brings me to a screen to buy more. There is no error code, the games just don't recognize my live membership

When you get a chance, let's try signing out of the console then sign back in. Are you still being prompted to purchase Xbox Live Gold after doing so?
