Xbox Live Gold not Registering on Console

Hello, I purchased an Xbox Live Gold Account in July. According to my account, I have already paid for the monthly subscription for August, however for the last couple of weeks, using my Gold account has been incredibly difficult. More often then
not, it doesn't even register me as a Gold member! I've tried restarting my xbox, testing my network connection, and so far none of it has done any good. If this continues, I will probably ask for a refund.

Gears of War beta question

Do I need to have Xbox Live gold to receive a beta invite? I know I need it to play the beta. I already registered and I don't have live at the moment.

Xbox live gold not registering

I have an Xbox one s that isn't registering that i have xbox live so i can't play metal gear solid V: the phantom pain because when i try to play it says i need to renew xbox live gold but i already have so i should not be having this problem.

If you are new to Xbox live then when you sign up to live on the console and register you can select silver membership and you will receive a 1 month trial to Xbox Live Gold

Unfortunately Xbox 360 game purchases can't be completed on an Xbox One console or at Xbox.com without having a payment method such as a debit/credit card registered to your account. One you have done this it should allow you to complete the Xbox 360 games
with gold purchase without charge.

If you try to complete this purchase on an Xbox 360 console you will not need to register another payment method.

Please note not all Xbox Live Gold subscriptions (typically trial subscriptions) include Xbox 360 games with gold games.
