    This is my second account with Xbox (starting first on the 360 like 8 years ago) and this is the first time I've experienced this. My gold membership ran out on October 8th, 2017. While I had no money my friend offered his 14 day trial that came with his
    Xbox. I punched it in and it says I'm subscribed to gold till the 23rd. However when I try to join a party or play online it tells me I need to subscribe to gold. The strange part is I tried on a different console and my account worked fine. Xbox support said
    "they'd send it higher up". Still no idea what's going on.

    Gold Family Membership - No option to add members

    Hi, in 99% of cases simply performing the Xbox Live connection test will resolve this issue, if you only just upgraded to the family pack or indeed a Gold membership it can take some hours to update your account. Performing the Xbox Live connection will
    do the account update pretty much instantly.

    -

    Press the Guide button on your controller (Xbox button in the center of your controller).

    Go to Settings, and then select System Settings.

    Select Network Settings.

    Select your network connection.

    Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

    Hey there ArchAngel11396.

    Since this began on your Xbox One, have you tried removing your profile from your Xbox One and adding it back to see if there's any change?

  5. Yes I deleted my account and reinstalled it and it didn't do anything. Tried hard reset on console, clear MAC address and everything suggested by the Microsoft employee on the chat box. My only thought is that since it was a trial and my account has already
    used payed gold that something went wrong in the system. Still doesn't explain why it worked on a different console though. No word back from support either.
