    Xbox Live Gold Not Allowing me to Install Xbox 360 Games.


    I am an Xbox Live Gold member and I really wanted to get Assassins Creed for Xbox 360 free on my Xbox one. I was not able to get that game and this month I tried to get the free star wars game but it also didn't allow me to. Every time I try to install a
    free Xbox 360 game it always gives me a pop-up error that says something like. "This transaction can not be complete from Xbox.com, this transaction needs to be done on your Xbox.". If anyone knows how to fix this issue please help me I have missed out on
    a lot of games due to this issue. Thanks!

    Not Allowing Me To Get Xbox LIVE Gold

    Have you recently tried again and did it work? It may have been a network issue with Xbox Live and they may not have been able to process your information.

    If you're on a child account, you'll have to make the purchase from a 360 console. Otherwise, make sure you have a credit card or Paypal on file.

    It allowed me to install the game for free(with xbox live gold), but i dont used the cart, acess the game at xbox live webpage and download it.

    only a standard Xbox Live Gold subscription will allow you to get a Game with Gold for free. a 14 day trial is like the name mentions a Trial subscription and won't allow you to get a 360 Games with Gold game for free, you will require a standard Xbox Live
    Gold subscription for that.

    No, you have to go here for the games with gold
    http://www.xbox.com/live/games-with-gold?xr=shellnav     (make sure you are logged into your gold account), then scroll down to the Xbox 360 game, and download to Xbox 360, it should then show up in your ready to install section on the Xbox one.
