    Although I have a current Xbox Live Gold subscription lasting into 2019 I'm unable to login to Fortnite with the error message that Xbox Luve Gold is required.

    I am trying to sign into Fortnite but cant login and message is "Account does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox Live functionality". My Gold membership only expires in June 2018.

    Xbox is saying that I don't have XBOX live gold, but it expires in 3 months

    My xbox live gold is expiring on 12 december this year. But I can not login to Fortnite since today because my xbox is saying that my xbox live has expired. Anybody with the same issue, and a solution?

    Sorry to hear it. Please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds till it shuts down to see if that helps. If it does not then try deleting your gamertag from the console and power cycle again before redownloading your tag.

    Fortnite is an online only game. In order to play online a gold subscription is required and online accounts do require an email and password to login to Live.

    As Onyx said, try doing a hard reset of the console to see if that triggers it. If that doesn't work, I would contact XBOX Support here: https://support.xbox.com
