    So today I got on my 360 to play splitscreen Halo online with a friend. At first it wouldn’t sign in at all on one of my profiles, and just gave error 831188fe. I tried the troubleshooting guide for it but that didn’t do anything. It turned out that I had
    to confirm my recent activity since I was playing in a new area. So now I can sign in on that profile, but its Xbox Live Gold membership is gone, so we can’t get online. I know I had Gold on that profile before, since we played on it just yesterday and it
    was fine. But after following the useless troubleshooting, which involved deleting and redownloading the profile, my membership is back to Silver. I’m worried, too, since that profile, while not my main profile on the 360, is the profile that all my progress
    in Halo 5 is tied to on the Xbox One, so if I lose Xbox Live Gold on that, I won’t be able to access it or play online with it. Any help?

    Try deleting and redownloading your Xbox live profile.

    And do you have Xbox live gold?

    So i tried t connect to the internet but it didnt let me. I deleted my profile and when i tried to redownload it from x/live it said that profiles cannot be downloaded, at the bottom it said the code
    800704cd. Please help!!

    i can not go online, when i have a gold membership.

    If you have just renewed or purchased a new XBOX Live Gold membership, try to delete your profile and redownload it.

    To do this just follow these steps:

    Go to settings, system and storage.

    Open the hard drive/memory unit and go to the profile folder.

    delete your profile and select delete profile only.

    after you do that, just redownload the profile

    press the guide button (the big X in the middle of the controller and select download profile).

    PUBG requires a gold membership as it is an online multiplayer game only. If you already have a gold membership then try deleting your profile then power cycle the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down and then redownload
    your profile.

    To remove a profile from your xbox, you go system, then memory, chose the harddrive where the profile is located, chose profile and select the one you want to delete and then chose delete. If the profile you want to remove is xbox live connected it can
    always be redownloaded. Profiles that have never been on live will be gone forever.
