    Xbox team would you consider making it so when we play play online/battle royale games for free without paying for Xbox live gold membership benefits and if we don't pay we won't get monthly games or discounts on gold membership games but if we do pay then
    we get the discount and monthly games but if we don't want to pay we still play games such as call of duty, Fortnite, relm royale and more.I know you probably won't do this because you lose out on the money but young gamers are losing out on gaming.

    If you have a current Xbox live Gold membership, and the game you're trying to download is gold free, then it is free as long as you have gold membership. I have a few games that I got for free using my gold membership.

    Yes, you certainly can. The bottom of a 2 Day Gold Pass states the following:

    XBOX LIVE 2-Day gold Membership, free trial allows access to these Gold features: online multiplayer gaming, Netflix, ESPN on XBOX Live, Facebook, free game demos, exclusive discounts, promotions and video content.

    Free 2-day trial offer is only for use on the XBOX 360 and is not valid for current XBOX Live Gold Members. At the end of your 2-day trial period, your membership will default to the FREE XBOX Live Membership, unless you elect to extend your XBOX Live Gold
    Membership.

    Now what this doesn't tell you is that you cannot play in ranked matches with the trial membership, but you are free to play in social matchmaking playlists for games.

    The free month with gold membership is a trial period and doesn't offers all the privileges of the paid gold membership. I suggest you to purchase xbox live gold membership to enjoy the full privileges of this membership.
