XBOX LIVE - Gold membership error

This is not a bug or an error, you're getting this message because the profile you are currently on does not have an Xbox LIVE Gold membership. In order to play online with other members around the world you need to purchase an Xbox LIVE Gold Membership.

I keep getting an "XBox Live Membership Limitation" error when trying to play a MUT Seasons game. Any ideas? I have XBox Live Gold.

the same thing happened to me i had xbox live gold and a error popped up and said to reboot and i did and it said i had free membership not gold

How exactly did Xbox Live "stop working"? Is the console still able to connect online? In the settings of the consoles you can do a network test.

Is your son getting an error message? If so, could you please tell us the exact wording of the error message?

Your son can check the status of the Xbox Live Gold membership at https://account.microsoft.com/services/.

The Gold membership is however ONLY required for online multiplayer and party chat. Your son should be able to connect to Xbox Live to access the online store and to send and recieve text messages without problems.

If the Xbox Live connection doesn't work, it's not because of the Gold membership.
