Xbox Live Gold issue

For the last two days, every time I'm in a situation where I need my xbox live gold membership, I log in and it automatically takes me to a screen showing the subscription options. I can choose the 1 month, 3 month etc or I can choose manage my membership.
It says right on this screen that I have the 1 month free trial that ends May 20.

if I choose a subscription option and follow that through it eventually tells me I can only have one subscription. If I choose manage my account it's just a place to change my billing. i can't actually play any of the games! What is the deal?? I've deleted
and re added my account to the console but even when I add the account back it does this.

Microsoft giving free digital games for users with broken disc drives

I was just told this while chatting with an MS rep about a separate issue: "Every console sent in for repair will have a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription after the repair. However for those with disc unreadable issue, on top of the free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription, they'll receive a free game token." They will email the code after the replacement XBox has shipped.

New halo update question

xbox live is having some issues so that may be the problem.
It worked earlier for me and there was a monetary value for each of the Gold bundles (no REQ points)

Replying here because I cant see how to make a new post.

When I cancel auto renew it means I DO NOT WANT TO AUTO RENEW.

This happens far to often. I took advantage of the 1 month for a pound promotion and it put me back on autorenew - I can understand that. That is what the promotion was about. Now I have just redeemed a 12 month gold card and again I find myself with an
email telling me auto renew is enabled from my 12 month subsciption end date. THIS IS NOT ON.

To boot I get an error when trying to access my subscriptions so I cant even cancel the fecking autorenew - Bad Request - Request Too Long

HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long.

@Lairyboy - For billing issues you would need to contact support directly.
support.xbox.com/contact-us Anytime you purchase gold from Xbox, included the 1 month offers, it does warn you that auto-renewal will be turned on.

Seems like the issue is not regarding to your game edition it is due to your subscription. The game requires Xbox Live Gold subscription to play it. It’s either you will purchase Xbox Live Gold subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate since the Ultimate included Xbox Live Gold as well.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Xbox Live Gold membership and Minecraft. Microsoft has recently announced that they will be phasing out Xbox Live Gold and replacing it with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass for PC and gamepass core.. This change is aimed at providing a more comprehensive gaming experience for users.

Keep..in mind gamepass core replaces gold .not gamepass.has includes .gold and gives you access to.25 games. and it Costs the same as gold

Regarding your issue with Minecraft, it's possible that there may be a technical issue that's preventing you from accessing the game. I recommend contacting Xbox customer support for assistance with this issue.

Do you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription? In order to use many of the Xbox Live features, you must have Xbox Live Gold. Double check and let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

I have Grand Theft Auto IV and it says you do not require XBOX LIVE GOLD to play the story mode. However, a Gold membership is required in order to play with friends. Being a Gold member with a backup Silver account, I guarantee this is not the issue. If
the issue continues, consider contacting Xbox LIVE Support for details.
