Xbox live gold isn't working

So I have automatic billing for Xbox live Gold but I am not receiving any benifits from it on my Xbox console such as the free games with gold. Everytime I check on console for gold it only has the option to purchase it while on my account it says my Xbox
live Service is active. How can I fix this?

Are you trying to redeem on a computer or the Xbox? If on Xbox, have you tried it on the computer? If you have what is happening with when you try from there?

 

Xbox Gold isn't working.

So I have been trying to renew my Xbox Live Gold Membership but everytime I go to the payment menu it cuts out of it and says 'Try that again' and in small letters below it says 'Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help'. I've done this at
least seven times and I even tried hard reseting my Xbox but it just doesn't seem to work. Are there any solutions?

 

Hi, I'd first recommend visiting http://account.microsoft.com/services and logging in with the account that has the subscription to make sure it shows up there. If the subscription shows, I'd try removing
the account with gold from the console, then performing a power cycle on the console, then re-adding it back. Note that you'll need to know the email and password associated with the account you're removing/adding, so only try this if you know that information.
