Xbox live gold isn't working, and accounts randomly log in.

I renewed my Xbox live gold, and it won't let me accesses the deals with gold menu. When I try to open it, it says that i need to renew my gold, then opens up a new app that gives me options to purchase Xbox live gold. Also, when I play games, random accounts
sign in. Any way to fix this?

Xbox One: Sharing Digital Games and Gold

Looks like Microsoft has released additional info on how the Xbox One Digital sharing will work when the system launches. Little change up, but its interesting their is no mention of Xbox family share. Guess you have to be logged in at a friend's house.

Sharing Digital Games

Everyone in your home can share digital games with each other. Your Xbox One can become your virtual game library filled with digital games that different people in the home bought. Anyone can pick any digital game on your Xbox One, sign in with their own gamertag and play – even if the owner is not signed in. Like physical media, you can also play many digitally downloaded games without being online, although experiences will be best when connected to the internet and Xbox Live. Finally, when you purchase a digital game, you can start playing even before the entire game downloads.

Because your digital games go with you, you can also use and share digital games when you sign in to another console. And, if you happen to buy a digital game when you are signed in on your friend’s console, your game will also be available on your Home Xbox One console for anyone to use.

Sharing Xbox Live Gold Benefits

At E3 this year, we briefly highlighted a new benefit we’re bringing to Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One. We’re calling it Home Gold. It will enable any Xbox Live Gold member on Xbox One to extend many Gold features to others at no additional cost. One Xbox Live Gold account delivering great benefits to everyone in the home.

Here’s how Xbox Live Gold members can extend Gold benefits including multiplayer gaming, Game DVR, SmartMatch and access to entertainment apps and experiences, including The NFL on Xbox, Skype, Internet Explorer:

At home. You can set up your console at home so that anyone who uses that console will enjoy multiplayer gaming and access to entertainment apps – even if you are not home or logged in.

At a Friend’s House with Xbox One

On Xbox One if you are an Xbox Live Gold member, you will be able to go to a friend’s house and play co-op multiplayer– even if your friend is not a Gold subscriber. Once you log in with your Xbox Live Gold account, everyone using that console can access multiplayer and entertainment apps for as long as you are logged in.

At Home with Xbox 360 and Xbox One

If you are an Xbox Live Gold member today, you are already set for Xbox One. Your Xbox Live Gold membership for Xbox 360 will seamlessly become an Xbox Live Gold account on your Xbox One and you will be able to enjoy Xbox Live Gold features on either console. 2 Xbox ONE consoles in one house. How do I buy games for both consoles and with out buying 2 disk?

I found a workaround that lets my kids use my games on their Xbox, while I can still play the same games on my Xbox, even play Halo 5 Co-op with my kids on their Xbox (1 kid at a time for Halo 5, both kids for Halo 1-4), and me on my Xbox. Note, I have the only Live Gold account in our household. It's not the preferred solution for this (Yo, Microsoft, Family Gold Subscription, please!), however it works very well for 2 Xbox One consoles. Here's what I had to do...

(My Xbox)
1. Settings - Personalization - My home Xbox
- I removed my Live Gold account from "My home Xbox", leaving no account set for this.
2. Settings - Account - Sign-in, security & passkey
- Set my Live Gold account for "Instant sign-in"
3. Settings - Power & Startup - Turn off or restart - Restart now
- Rebooted Xbox for settings to take effect.

(Kids' Xbox)
I have my Gold account and the regular accounts for my wife and kids set up to login.
1. Settings - Personalization - My home Xbox
- Using my Gold account, I selected "Make this my home Xbox"
2. Settings - Account - Sign-in, security & passkey
- I set one of my kids' accounts for "Instant sign-in".
3. Settings - Power & Startup - Turn off or restart - Restart now
- Rebooted Xbox for settings to take effect.

My Xbox now has no account set with "My home Xbox", but since it has my Gold account set for Instant sign-in, it will still automatically have access to the games, movies, and other content. However, it won't automatically install purchased games, but that is easily remedied by accessing "My games & apps" from the Xbox home screen, where I will see newly purchased games under the "Ready to Install" section where I can easily install them.

A Live Gold account can only have one Xbox selected as its "home Xbox", however, on that home Xbox, all other accounts that sign-in will have access to the content purchased by the Gold account. This is what allows my kids to access my Gold account content on their Xbox. In addition to the "home Xbox", any purchases made by a Gold account will follow that account to any "non-home Xbox" where the account is logged-in. Since my account is still set for "Instant sign-in" on my Xbox, my purchases are always available, unless I log out. Other people can still login to my Xbox and use the content I have purchased, as long as my Gold account stays logged in, too. If, for some reason, I login on my Kids' Xbox, it will log me out on my Xbox, but I just log back in when I am done playing with my kids on their Xbox. This let's me play Halo 5 Guardians in Co-op mode with me logged in on my Xbox, and one of my kids logged in on their Xbox, which has access to my Gold account content, because that is my "Home Xbox". So far, I have not encountered any complications with this setup. If I do, I will amend my post here.

Good luck! I still have not found a way to share content across three Xbox consoles simultaneously, however, this does work for two consoles, even if they are not in the same location. I have also been told that some cablemodems and broadband routers may have trouble with two Xbox consoles accessing Xbox Live games simultaneously from the same residence, but I have Comcast Xfinity Internet service using the WiFi gateway they provided (Cisco DPC3941T wireless gateway/router), and I have not had any trouble playing Xbox Live games on both consoles at the same time.

You can try a couple of basic troubleshoot steps like uninstalling and reinstalling your profile as well as clearing your MAC address, you can do this by gong to your settings > network settings > advanced settings > alternate MAC address > clear, it'll
restart your xbox one, that's normal go ahead and let it. If you still are unable to get gold try to sign into xbox.com and get the games with gold there to send it to your xbox one. It should work, if it doesn't then you may need to call xbox support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX
so they can troubleshoot your gold subscription and get it working for you.

You can try to remove your profile first using these steps.

Settings > All Settings > Account > Remove Profile > Select your profile > Remove

Then restart your console by holding down the power button for 8-10sec then unplug it from the power outlet for 2-3minutes. Turn your console back on and add your account back.

You should be good by then.

it isn't a scam.

the messages come from Xbox Live, not random chats and they contain the code ready to be redeemed.

I log into Xbox Live. Finally it works. But what about the compensation? I paid for two account xbl gold, and one WoT. Someone knows what to do in that case? Where should I report the request?

Is it possible that you put in a different email/Windows LIVE ID when you came to log into Xbox.com?

When a new email that wasn't an Xbox LIVE account logs into the site, a randomly generated Gamertag is given to them. In this case, the BraverRose4032 Gamertag is also a Silver member, and since yours is Gold, this can't be the correct WLID.

If you have another Windows Live ID that isn't assigned to a gamertag, it will set up a randomly generated available gamertag with Xbox Live Free and give you one free change to what you want it to be. I'm fairly certain that this only pertains to accounts
created before a certain time, but I would assume that this is what happened to you. Log out and log back in to your correct account and things should be back to normal.

Same thing happened to me, i tried logging on with a silver account and it works, but gold doesnt. So i guess that only silver accounts can log into live and golds cant?
