hello i just purchased a 3 month card tonight n right now just used it however it did not turn my account to GOLD STATUS!!! my xbox ended up freezing during redemption phase and i had to turn it off and it gives me code has been redeemed but no gold status
any help would be greatly appreciated .-.

Half way down they say that you get Netflix, Hulu, HBO, their first born sons, etc. without gold membership. Hope this helps you out!

You're showing as gold here, so I'm not sure if it's already fixed itself or not. Try testing your connection on the console to see if that helps. If not, make sure the card does show as redeemed on

Thanks for your post. To play any multiplayer game over Xbox Live, you much have an Xbox Profile with an active Xbox Live Gold Subscription. For more information on what comes with Xbox Live Gold, check out this article:

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your friend is being asked to purchase Xbox Live Gold when he tries playing with you. The multiplayer features of Xbox Live require that both accounts have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. An
account that doesn't have an Xbox Live Gold subscription can still play online if another

account that does have Xbox Live Gold is sharing it through the home console feature. Your friend will need to get Xbox Live Gold in order to play with you. We hope this information helps

If your console included an Xbox Live Gold subscription, it will be on a leaflet inside the box. If a subscription was not included with your bundle, then you will need to purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription separately, in order to access the Xbox Live
Gold benefits.
