Xbox live Gold - Games with gold issue

so I've been a Gold member for around 5 years now but for some reason unknown to me, whenever I now try to download the latest game with gold, it keeps pushing me to the page to purchase Xbox live gold when I still am an Xbox live gold member. I can still
join and talk in parties, I can play pvp on the Master Chief Collection alongside all aspects of Destiny (which as many people know requires Gold to be able to even play the story missions solo) and I can even play the games I've previously downloaded through
games with gold.

I'm on Xbox One and would like to know if there is any way or if it possible to sort out this problem quickly and efficiently, it's not the end of the world if i cant download the free games from games with gold but it'd still be nice if I at least had the
choice and ability to.

Microsoft giving free digital games for users with broken disc drives

I was just told this while chatting with an MS rep about a separate issue: "Every console sent in for repair will have a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription after the repair. However for those with disc unreadable issue, on top of the free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription, they'll receive a free game token." They will email the code after the replacement XBox has shipped.

You're not showing as gold here. Are you sharing a gold subscription with someone on the One? That could possibly be the issue.

If the gold is supposed to be on your account, you would need to check your subscription at
Sign in to your Microsoft account and contact support if there are issues. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Xbox Live Gold membership and Minecraft. Microsoft has recently announced that they will be phasing out Xbox Live Gold and replacing it with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass for PC and gamepass core.. This change is aimed at providing a more comprehensive gaming experience for users.

Keep..in mind gamepass core replaces gold .not gamepass.has includes .gold and gives you access to.25 games. and it Costs the same as gold

Regarding your issue with Minecraft, it's possible that there may be a technical issue that's preventing you from accessing the game. I recommend contacting Xbox customer support for assistance with this issue.

Seems like the issue is not regarding to your game edition it is due to your subscription. The game requires Xbox Live Gold subscription to play it. It’s either you will purchase Xbox Live Gold subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate since the Ultimate included Xbox Live Gold as well.

I'm having the same issue - signed up to Gold account yesterday but still getting the "join xbox live gold" message on

log into your Microsoft account to double check your Xbox Gold Subscription active. If the subscription is active, when you try to access Games with Gold, make sure you're using the gamertag that has the Xbox Live Gold subscription. If you redeemed a promotional
Xbox Live Gold token as part of your subscription, you won't be eligible for Games with Gold. If you used a prepaid code to sign up for Xbox Live Gold, make sure it was successfully redeemed. The Games with Gold are only available with the Xbox Live Gold Subscription.

Thanks for your post. I understand you're experiencing an issue with Games with Gold. If you set home Xbox with another profile that has Xbox Live Gold, you will be able to play the same Game with Gold games that the other profile has redeemed. This means
that if the other profile had not redeemed a certain game that you had redeemed when you had Xbox Live Gold, it will not play. For more information on Games with Gold, visit
