Xbox live gold free version?

We all know we pay €20 euros per 3 months or €60 euros per year for xbox live gold to play online multiplayer.

U will get free games and discounts every month. But 90% of the people dont want the discounts or free games but only online multiplayer. And since we pay for wifi connection its not needed to pay for online multiplayer. So where u actually pay for are the
discounts and free games. And people dont love to have that so i think its time for a new system. Xbox live silver. Here u pay 0 dollars euros or anything and u can only play onlinr multiplayer and dont have discounts. This is kinda good because young kids
have a xbox to and they are not allowed to pay subscriptions. So i think this has to be a system in the xbox world.

Xbox Live is free.

You can make a Gold account, or a Silver account.

The Gold account gives you access to access to play online, along with free monthly games and weekly deals. This has a fee.

The Silver account gives you access to Xbox Live and apps, but you just can't play online or get the free games. This is free.

While I can see some of your viewpoints. Understand that you are paying $60 dollars a year for not only exclusive discounts and Free Games with Gold each month. You are also paying for a dedicated service that operates almost seamlessly 24/7. That service
also needs to be constantly monitored, maintained, and updated to keep up with people needs. To break it down further, you are essentially paying only $5 a month for Gold. Less than the baseline Hulu or Netflix subscription and other services. Also keeping
in mind that multiplayer is a huge component of the Xbox Live services that must be maintained. You are getting a lot for those $60 dollars or euros.

But why was online gaming for free on ps3 and the beginning of xbox 360?

 

I think the honest answer to that was that neither realized how much money they could make from an online service. MS touted themselves as having better and more stable online with the 360 than the PS3 and to a degree they were right. But now if you look
at the different services, even Nintendo is getting on board. To be honest Nintendo's look a lot like a hybrid between Gold and Game Pass (but with retro games) at a much cheaper price. I pay for Gold, EA Access and Game Pass and honestly feel like they're
a great deal. PSN is the only one I feel sort isn't pulling its weight.

 

Is it just an idea to make it a little cheaper? Lets say 15 dollars for 3 months instead of 20

 

Those prices are also full price. There are sales from time to time on the gold memberships. Don't forget, with Microsoft Rewards you can actually use your reward points to get xbox live memberships, so you can in theory get Xbox Live Gold just by using
the bing search tool (Google doesn't pay you to search....).

is Microsoft Rewards available in your country ? If so you can get the gold memberchip for free* (just a little Bing search every day and some quizzes to earn points)

I got my last 24 months gold this way !

Ideal for people who want or have to save some money.

Hi,

the reason why the pay wall for online multiplayer because it's very expensive for Xbox to even keep the Xbox Live servers up and running for all of us to enjoy the service, to play on one of the fastest network in the world.

Discounts and others like rewards are an additional bonus for you.
