Xbox live Gold Free games, and Games, downloading

Why do the xbox one Free gold games suck so bad compared to xbox 360?

keep giving me all these little kid games for xbox one and grown up games on xbox 360. its not fair.

and it takes days to download a game

and a game update takes a few hours or more

I have put all this money into this xbox one for nothing when the xbox 360 gets treated better by Microsoft.

Please put more into xbox one, hard to find any games for it. and why do I need to keep putting my game disc in when i have to download it anyway to first start it waste so many Hours/Days doing all this downloading.

Free games on the marketplace every month?

I don't think anyone is paying for Gold xbox Live for the free games for gold, just like the various apps and entertainment features, the free games are just a bonus.

You pay for gold to play on xbox live, currently downloading Tomb Raider for free is just a nice extra.

Maybe try downloading the free with gold games and see if they work OK for you. The free with gold games for Xbox One can be found here,

1) The Xbox One is a newer system and not that many games are available to give away for "free". Games for gold on the 360 is getting games that are mostly over 3 years old. As for being "kid" games, games that do not have an M rating are not necessarily
kids games or it doesn't make them less enjoyable.

If you think it's not fair, nobody is stopping you from getting a 360 (if you don't own one yet) and playing the games with gold on that system

2) Games taking too long to download depends all on your connectionspeed. you can call your ISP for a new pack which gives you a higher downloadspeed .

3) You need to put your game disc in as this counts as a license. The game will then install from the disc and if any updates are required because the game didn't fully fit on the disc or because there just is an update it will then be downloaded.

And again an update taking more than a few hours is purely your connectionspeed

 

So you're saying I shouldn't have wasted all this money on the xbox one and stuck with the xbox 360?

why can't xbox 360 games be downloaded onto the xbox one? can't be much different then what they have in the game library on the xbox one.

and connection speed may play a part on my xbox one- just not on my xbox 360, pc, tablets, etc.

 

It is different as it's a different operating system.
