Xbox live Gold free code

Hi there, looking for help. I redeemed a three month trial of xbox live gold tonight but I redeemed it against my own profile instead of to my daughter's account. The only way my daughter can use it is to log in as me which means she doesn't see the games
she has created on minecraft etc. I only created a profile for me so that there was an adult account. She has her own profile.

Is there anyway that the live gold can be linked to her account or do we just have to wait until this free trial runs out and then next time make sure we redeem it against the right profile.

Not very familiar with xbox, so unsure what to do.

Microsoft giving free digital games for users with broken disc drives

I was just told this while chatting with an MS rep about a separate issue: "Every console sent in for repair will have a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription after the repair. However for those with disc unreadable issue, on top of the free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription, they'll receive a free game token." They will email the code after the replacement XBox has shipped.
