    Xbox Live Gold for xbox one gift card


    I am currently trying to help my son redeem his xbox live gold gift card on his xbox. Every time he tries to key in the code it then prompts him to select a payment type with the choices of a credit/debit card or paypal. I should not have to key in this
    info if he has a gift card.

    Is there anyone else that has experienced the same problems? Or can anyone help me?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    yes xbox gift cards will work on pc,s and yes you need xbox live gold go for xbox live gold first.

    There is xbox live game pass gift cards same with xbox live gold gift cards. Currency gift cards can't really play for subscription payments.

    If I understand correctly you bought a 65$ Xbox Gift card and tried to purchase Xbox Live Gold with it but it asked for your creditcard instead?

    Unfortunately you can't purchase Xbox Live gold using gift card, you'll need to either buy Xbox Live Gold cards which come in 1-3-6-12 months (promotional ones can have an extra month or 2) or you'll need to purchase it using a creditcard.

    If it's for Xbox, then Game Pass, Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Gift Card, or give a digital game as a gift.
