XBOX Live Gold for Childs... No Sir!

As long free 360 Games (Games with Gold or other) can not be bought with Child Accounts, i will not add a Gold subscription for my kids.

Why? Microsoft is not able that a Child Account can buy an Free 360 Game thru the Website or with the Xbox One... ...only thru 360 Console is supported. Backward compatibilty... What a joke!

Sorry but "stupid" is only a nice word to describe this crap! So for me it's clear... No Gold Subscription for my Daughter until this madness is fixed, sorry Microsoft! (..and no excuses or anything to explain this, i don't care: Fix it!).

Moving from Xbox 360 to Xbox One and Family Sharing

Hi - we currently have an Xbox 360. There is a child account which is used permanently and has Xbox Live Gold on it. The Gold expires soon and at the same time we will be getting an XBox One. There is also a Parent account associated with the child account
but this does not have XBox Live Gold.

So when we unwrap the shiny new XBox One on Christmas Day we can migrate the child account across but it will no longer have Xbox Gold as it will have just expired.

Will it be best for me to add XBox One Live Gold to the
Parent Account and then the Child Account can be part of Family Sharing (and I can add other accounts if I want for other kids), or will renewing the XbOx Live Gold on the Child account still allow Family sharing with both adults and children alike?

Hope someone has some good advice for me!

Child Accounts Unable to use Gold Membership on Parent Account

Good day,

I have a child account that cannot access the my parent account which has Live Gold membership. Child account trying to purchase a game but it will not allow using the Gold membership price. Also unable to download free games via the Gold membership. Xbox
One is set as the "home" box for both child and parent. So why is it that the child account appears to have no access to Gold?
