Xbox live gold for £1, got charged the full £5.99

Hi - hope this is the right forum to post (first time)

there was a dashboard offer of one months x-box live gold for £1 this weekend (uk) - however when I subscribed to it, I found I'd been charged the full £5.99. Where do I go to get this sorted out

Charged for Xbox gold and Xbox live

Can someone help please. On 18th October I was charged £5.99 for Xbox gold and then on 21st October i was charged £5.99 for Xbox live gold.

What is the difference and why have i been charged. Can't get an answer on the website

Back in august live for £1

In August you was offering £1 live for a month when I paid it it charged me £5.99 why is that? When I didn't have gold??

The offer of £1 is for members who are silver and don't have gold membership. If you get the £5.99 price you had gold membership previously.

Similar experience here. On my dashboard it says try gold on us. Click it and it tries to charge me £5.99

I just realised it's been charging me £14.98 for the past three months from my debit card as well as charging my paypal account £5.99 for gold... What the hell?! I'm currently talking to customer service...

Its already took the £5.99 out of my account but I've not got gold, I shouldn't have to pay again.

Well I'm just glad my Vanilla Prepaid Mastercard works on Xbox Live, it wasn't a waste afterall cause I got Xbox Live Gold for $1 a month. I t does suck because they charge you $1 for every transaction you make.
