    Xbox Live gold family sharing


    Hi

    My son has been using my Xbox live gold account for a number of years, I have bought another xbox for my daughter and cannot get both consoles using my xbox live gold account.

    I do not generally use either xbox so an a nubie when it comes to this. I have watched a number of videos and have looked at various posts on forums etc but they have not helped. Both children are part of my family account on microsoft.

    Current status is. I setup my daughters xbox and made that my home xbox. At this point my sons xbox was prevented from going online. I've tried various settings, instant sign ins, signing in on both consoles etc. but cannot get both to share the live
    account.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hey MsTheGamer290! To share Xbox Live Gold you will want the master account to set the family's Xbox console as their Home Console. This will allow all users that play on that Xbox to utilize Xbox Live Gold features and games owned by the master account.

    It's possible to
    share     the same Gold subscription on two consoles in the family. That way you don't have to buy a new subscription.
