    Xbox Live Gold Family Sharing - Problems?


    Hello

    I have Xbox Live Gold Family Sharing enabled and everything seems to work fine on the Xbox One

    However... when my daughter logs into the 360 upstairs it only seems to say she has Xbox Live Free and it wont let her join a party or join a minecraft game with her 360 owning friends.

    Is this by design or is something not quite right?

    xbox "home gold" share Xbox One's premium features

    Kinda sounds similar to the family share just a little tighter on the digital game sharing. It seems their may be a tier system for Xbox subscription so if your only using the TV & Netflix side it may be cheaper than the full gold package. Only time will tell at this point.

    Gold sharing only works on the One. For the 360 each account would need their own subscription.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. The gold sharing only works on the Xbox one consoles. For her to use the Xbox 360 she will need a separate subscription.

    Hey MsTheGamer290! To share Xbox Live Gold you will want the master account to set the family's Xbox console as their Home Console. This will allow all users that play on that Xbox to utilize Xbox Live Gold features and games owned by the master account.

    share     the same Gold subscription on two consoles in the family. That way you don't have to buy a new subscription.
