Xbox Live Gold code doesn't work after it has been accepted

Hi all,

Today I bought an online Xbox Live Gold prepaid membership for 3 months. So ok, I received the 25-digit code in my email and immidiately filled it in. As always it came with the usual message on the Xbox that stated that I now have acces to Xbox Live Gold
for 3 months. However, when I tried to go online (no matter what game) it doesn't recognise my membership at all.. which means I can't play online. Next I filled the 25-digit code in again and it says that it's already been used. I thought maybe I should try
to unplug the Xbox entirely and connect to the internet again but that also doesn't seem to work as it still gives me the same messages.

Does anyone know this problem or know how to solve it? It seems like such a waste of money to buy another membership again.. I'd really appreciate it if anyone would be able to help!

14 day Gold code entered but not recognised

My xbox live subscription has just expired so before I renew it I decided to use the 14 day gold trial that came with the xbox one. I have entered the code and it has been accepted however I still have no access to xbox live

Has anyone experienced this and does anyone have any suggestions on a solution?

Microsoft giving free digital games for users with broken disc drives

I was just told this while chatting with an MS rep about a separate issue: "Every console sent in for repair will have a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription after the repair. However for those with disc unreadable issue, on top of the free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription, they'll receive a free game token." They will email the code after the replacement XBox has shipped.

Just to add something.. I went to My Account and then My Memberships. It says my Xbox Live Gold expires at 20-04-2018 so at least does make sense.. strangely enough I can't play online

I've put in a new live code. It's has been accepted however live not working.

Any ideas.

same thing here redeemed code on PC because Xbox not accepting any codes wouldn't even accept forza horizon 2 codes those i did on PC also worked showed up on Xbox downloaded and installed just fine but i try to go online after inputing 14 day trial codes
says i need a gold membership

i did the same but now my xbox live gold has ended and i put the 14 day gold trial card code in it accepted it but its saying i still am not gold and i dont know why i should have 14 day gold trial

No worries! Normally with these promotions, a code will not deliver immediately after signing up. Instead, they'll either go out 7-10 days after renewing or after 30 days from renewal (which is more common for these types of promotions). You will see the
code sent to your Xbox Live messages from 'Xbox Live'.

How long has it been since you renewed Xbox Live Gold? That extra bit of information will help us a bunch.
