XBOX live gold after tag changing.

Hello,

I've changed my game tag and now gold status is not working.

All games offer me to buy new xbox live gold status to play online.

But my subscription is active till 1st of July 2017.

How I can to fix this?

Change Xbox Live Gamer Tag

Hello,

I was directed here by the Xbox Support chat agent. I made this xbox gamer tag aaaaaagggessss ago and I just got Xbox Live Gold again after a long peoiod of not having it and decided that I don't want my last name in my gamer tag anymore as I don't really
feel like being identifiable and so I was told to come here and ask for someone from the Live Enforcement team? to help me with changing my gamertag? As I don't really want to pay $13 to do it...

Anyway to transfer Live Gold to a newly created Xbox Live account?

I created a Live account and was assigned a name tag that I don't want. I tried changing it and I'm being charged for the change. I contacted Xbox support and the agent told me under my account, there were two previous tag name changes made in 2014. I
am 100% sure I did not make those name tag changes in 2014.

Without the name tag fee waved I have to pay to change the name tag. Is it possible to create a new Outlook.com email and have my 12 months Xbox Live Gold transferred to the new account so that I can create a new name tag?

You get one free change within 30 days after creating your account if you change it from a generated tag to a custom one,after that you will have to pay.

Hello there oOI BUMBUM IOo When an Xbox live member chooses an Xbox gamer-tag, they have the full rights to keep that gamer-tag even know if they have been inactive for years along with no gamer-score & no gold membership,
you will not be able to request for the gamer-tag to be forced changed. The owner of the gamer-tag must change it himself or when a forced gamer tag change is imposed due to the gamer-tag violated the code of conduct in any sort of way, if the gamer tag you
enter is already taken, you are prompted to try another gamer tag Also try to remember that gamer-tags are also tied to services like Zune or games for windows live. If a gt doesn't exist on Xbox or has already been taken, it might be in use on one of those
Additional services like gfwl.

You will always need to pay for a Gamer tag change after the initial (first time) Gamer tag change.

This is expected behavior.

You cannot merge them. You would have had to create the Live Gold account from within the Xbox 360 account. It would then very likely ask you to change your Gamer Tag.
