Xbox live gold - Able to play online games but games for gold is saying i don't have ...

I have just recently changed the microsoft account associated with my gamertag. After going back onto my xbox one the games with gold app says that i need to "go gold" and isnt allowing me to download the free games this month. But I am able to play the
games that have features requiring gold membership (e.g Elder scrolls Online).

Any thoughts on the matter? (Will i have to buy gold again or will it likely sort itself out as the subscription section of this site says i still have gold membership and it is due to be renewed in may or june of next year)

Xbox Live Gold not Letting me play online

Bought Xbox Live gold recently. Says i have a live gold membership under account info on both the xbox and computer, and i was able to download games with gold.

But when i go to play online in any game, it says that i do not have Live gold and are therefore not eligible for online play despite having it. Solution?

 

My Xbox profile isn't allowed to play Xbox live why?

You don't have XBOX Live Gold. You need an active XBOX Live Gold membership in order to play games online with others.

 

Double check your new email address again, make sure that you have verified the change by logging into
Sign in to your Microsoft account. Check your email for any verification codes sent by Microsoft. Once this has been completed, remove your profile from your Xbox One. Make certain you know the password and email before
doing this. Once removed, restart your console and re-download your profile. This process is necessary to update any changes made on your Xbox Live profile.
