xbox live gold 1yr membership not applied to all username accts

Hi,

We have a 1yr Xbox one live gold membership. We have 3 different user name accounts set up on the system (one for each child). 2 username accounts have the gold membership, but the 3rd username account is without the Gold membership for some reason.

How do I change/correct this?

I just redeemed a Live Gold code for my kids on one acct (my youngest sons) and it was supposed to be applied to my oldest sons acct. how do I fix this?

Gears of War 3 Cannot Play Online?

Hi guys(first post),

I have a gold membership for xbox live, but can not seem to play online with Gears of War 3. The error message: "Your current gamer profile settings do not allow playing online games. To continue, all players must have settings that allow online play." This
is very frustrating because I have a gold account. Should I buy another 1yr Gold Membership and try again? Xbox support didn't know what to do.

Xbox gold is only associated with one gamertag , if that gamertag makes the xbox his "home" xbox , then anybody else who uses that xbox will have gold also ....the name you are using on this forum does NOT show as gold though...

As what Bimnog said. The gold subscription is only associated to a single account. If you're using an xbox one, you can share the gold subscription to all profiles on the console by setting the account as the home xbox account. But if you're using an xbox
360 console. You need to purchase a separate subscription to the other accounts for it to have gold. The family pack have been discontinued years ago and only separate subscriptions are available.

for Xbox One, only 1 Gold membership is required for all accts to enjoy Gold benefits on 1 console. ^JI

does it say gold or silver for your membership? did you purchase a 1mth 3mth or a 1yr gold subscription?

On the 360 Live membership is needed for each account. It is specific to the account that the code is applied to. On the Xbox One only one account needs to have paid membership for all users to access gold features.
