Xbox Live Going Down...

When you say your Laptop can still connect, can you please try the following:

Open up a command prompt (if you have a Windows PC, type "Windowskey +R" and in the small window type "cmd" and press OK. On a Mac or Linux PC simply open up a Terminal)

In the black window type the following command:

ping www.google.com -t

(If you use Linux or a Mac, omit the "-t" option)

This should produce rows upon rows with numbers.

Now play on your Xbox, and wait for the disconnects to happen.

If the disconnects happen, do the numbers change significantly? Or do the replies change to something completely different?

My first question is where do you live? Once you give me this information I would be able to help you out more.

Try this

Restart your network equipment

1. Turn off your Xbox 360 console and network hardware (for example, a modem and router).
   
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Turn on your modem and wait for it to come online (approximately one minute).
   
4. Turn on the next piece of hardware (for example, router), and wait another minute.
   
5. Repeat step 4 for any additional network hardware.
6. Turn on your console, press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
   
7. Select Network Settings.
8. Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.
   
9. Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

xbox live is down go to www.xbox.com/servicealerts for the latest updates for why xbox live is down! their is a service alert and xbox live is currently down i believe so maybe due to maintenance!

Ranks reset each year. You need to spend the same amount or more each year in order to either maintain your level or move up.
