xbox live goes down on new years now wont read any disc?

after the ddos attack on new years my xbox 360s will no longer read any disc what can i do is there and update coming that will help this matter or am i just SOL please help me out here thanks

Wireless Adaptor issues, 3 hours of hell, and at this point any help would be welcomed. Thank you

Xbox live for the original xbox was shut down several years ago so you wont be able to connect to live.

I won't let any naysayers put me off, my connection hasn't dropped in a decade, only when I change ISPS, I have a fibre-optic connection now, and in the 10 years I have had xbox-live it only goes down during scheduled maintenence so the network won't go
down

Microsoft would have thoroughly tested the network and has its years of experience (SINCE 2003) with xbox live... we're talking about the people who have pathed the way for online-console gaming.

If none of this helps, you will need to seek a
console repair.

I have had the same problem for about 2 weeks now. I have no idea why it is not working. The disc drive might be breaking down. I just got a copy of AC Black Flag and it wont read that disc at all and it is brand spankin new

my xbox 360 is the old white with silver disc tray and it wont read read my black ops 2 and the disc is super clean and my warrenty is voided since my dad took my xbox apart to clean it and now it wont read any discs and it was fine yesterday since it read
my black ops 2 disc in 1 go and the rest of my games in 1 go and i am just really confused why my xbox wont read any discs anymore and it read newer games perfectly also does the 3 ring of death effect the disc reading since i have had my xbox have the 3 ring

besides, now you wont have problems with a disc being scratch by your console

and the disc will play smoother cause it wont read a disc, it will read your HDD

hi, good day to you. i indeed use original dvd and original purchased xbox 360 disc as well, but it just wont read it anymore,

the best part, i use to play the exact game on my xbox before this and now it just wont load it anymore. example like battlefield bad company which i played and completed the mission previously with the same console, now when i try play the game again ,
it just wont read the disc anymore.

this goes to all my xbox 360 disc which is original and all my movies too.

i purchased original lord of the ring movies dvd set and it doesnt play it too..
