    what kind of games? some arcade ones might be good- peggle/bomberman. would probably be worth setting up a profile for her though to block messages & chat with unknown players etc.

    Yes they can. You set the one that has no Xbox live as Home Xbox of the profile that has Xbox Live. This then shares Xbox Live and games. The profile with Xbox Live can sign in on any other console and have access to their Xbox live and games.

    Wikkiwild1 is correct GFWL uses your Xbox live account but Xbox Live Gold is not required to play Games For Windows Live games.
