Xbox live games (NTSC / PAL)

Some games are region locked and not available in all regions. If it doesn't show on the marketplace on your console, then it's not available for you to purchase from the marketplace.

Trinidad and Tobago is an independent republic (and a member of the British Commonwealth). So I'm afraid to tell you that it doesn't fall under the United States.

Sadly that means that you are in a region that isn't officially supported by Xbox Live.

If i get a PAL console, then i will be able to play pal games...... right? does it matter that im located in europe?

so if i buy a PAL console, would i be able to play PAL games from where im located? would my location have any effect for offline use?

If you use a PAL console then yes, you can run a PAL game.

I live in the EU now and I have never had a problem with a region free game working.

PAL and NTSC long ago stopped being an issue. I live in the UK, a PAL country, and can watch NTSC formatted content on my television without a problem.

I can even play games from the USA (a NTSC region) on my Xbox 360 providing they are region free, an example of which is Ghostbusters: The Video Game.

Providing the console has the correct power adaptor(s) then PAL and NTSC should really not be an issue unless he is using an ancient television.

game is PAL compatible.

This can be a bit odd. But if you live in Europe, the disc is PAL or NTSC?
If it's NTSC you may need to get the PAL version

And the opposite if you live in America

So far as I know consoles that run a specific type of game (PAL or NTSC) cannot be changed to run the other. If you live in a PAL region you would need to purchase an NTSC system.
