xbox live game purchase downloads 50% 80% in seconds, then disappears (xbox 360)

I purchased Crimson Skies High Road to Revenge for download via xbox live. The first time I tried to download the download behaved normally, gradually growing from 1% upward, and then suddenly disappeared. The game was not listed in my games or in storage.
Since then attempts to re-download the game have resulted in a weird behavior: the download goes to 50% and then 80%, in less than a second, then disappears. No game appears in my games or in storage. I've tried clearing/deleting both the System cache and
the Marketplace System Data. Neither helped. I've tried downloading other games, and they've successfully downloaded. I'm using an Xbox 360. Any help much appreciated.

Hi. Sorry to hear about your troubles.

The method you instated you performed doesn't sound like you've done the right path.

I recommend the steadyfast good fix method, which surely should help you in this case.

Delete your profile

Perform an xbox 360 power reset

Resign in and redownload your profile again.

you can try to delete your profile and re-download it and then be able to install to solve that little problem. Good luck

I purchased the classic Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb for download on my Xbox 360/One. It downloaded fine on my Xbox One. On my Xbox 360, the download stops at 80% and never finishes. I had approx. 17 GB prior to the download; I now have
15.2 GB left of the hard drive with only 80% of the game downloaded. Is anyone else getting this issue? It can't be a hard drive space issue; it must be an issue with the game data somwhow.

I was able to download the games that were from Xbox Arcade but none of the others. I have an America Xbox and American account its just my ISP is German since I'm obviously in Germany. I'm trying to download the games I previously purchased while in the
states (Red Dead Redemption, Tales of Vesperia, Civilizations) so I can save them to the new bigger hard drive I got since the last one I had wasn't big enough to store them all and had to delete them once I wanted to get a new one. But when i try and download
them the download gets to about 80% then stops and says "can't download" and disappears. One time after trying to download Red Dead Redemption it stopped, disappeared but then when I went into "My Games" I saw it in there for a brief second before it dissapeared.

Hi, if you mean that your Xbox LIVE account was gifted to you with the game purchased on it, then sharing Xbox LIVE profiles is not allowed. If the account is not yours, then licences need to be transferred anyway since it was not purchased or downloaded
on your Xbox. As for the download stopping at 80%, could you try deleting your Xbox Cache, and also delete your Marketplace Cache, and then re-starting the download?
