XBOX LIVE FRIENDS LIST UNAVAILABLE AGAIN

Why is the Xbox live friends list UNAVAILABLE again...!? I have checked with friends who live in different parts of the uk on different ISPs and they also confirm friends list is UNAVAILABLE to them too...?!

Your Friends List has disappeared- Solutions

If your Friends list on Xbox LIVE has disappeared, follow the steps bellow to troubleshoot the problem:

• First, you need to restart your console.
• You have to sign in to Xbox LIVE using your gamertag.
• Now ask any one of your friends who is in your friend list, to delete you from his or her friends list.
• Then, you need to send a new friend request to him or her again.
• Finally, sign out of Xbox LIVE and sign in to Xbox LIVE again. You’ll see the friends list in the Xbox Dashboard.

Yeah down for me too no friends showing on xbox one, this website or on smartglass

 

There is currently a service alert which is affecting viewing friends, all we can do is wait it out, xbox are aware, hopefully its not too long before its back up again

 

Yeah, originally the ownly message I saw is an issue regarding minecraft, however they have now added social and gaming and friends list and sending and receiving messages to that list too.

 

I found a workaround to still talk to friends btw. In events like this I use SKYPE as a backup and it works flawlessly except one minor problem, party size limit! The PC version lets you have up to 20 participants in a live group chat party, some say there
is a limit of 200 available to premium users. Sadly the Xbox one only has a limit of 4. Again just another FAIL. Also how can Microsoft promote online cloud based mirroring services when they clearly and evidently can not show it..? .....Confused

 

It was ok for me and a friend at about 7pm last night but noticed just after 9pm it had vanished, either that or everyone had deleted me :/
