xbox live friends list not showing up after recovered account and factory reset

hey, my friends list was frozen for a couple of days stuck at 120 people online when i know their console was offline, so i called xbox and they told me to delete and recover my account, i did that and now none of my friends are showing up, i even factory
reset and it still isnt fixed. even though on xbox.com it shows my friends are online. im going to call them again today.

any suggestions?

Factory resetting is up to you, but if there are any digital games from the previous owner on there you'll lose them if you factory reset. From what I could tell it looks like Xbox Live is supported in Cyprus so you should be good and you can use pre-paid cards all you want but I do believe they require an address at least.

 

Selling xbox one question

My understanding is that you get 2 licences, one for the Hardware and one for your live account.

The one which is attached to your live account means that if you go to someone else house log into there Xbox, you get access to your games until you log out.

The Hardware licence is attached to your Xbox and anyone who logs on even a second buyer.

That being said, the reason I stated that it is attached to your live account is that you would want to do a Factory reset? I think if you do that, you may have issues re-downloading the content initially without logging on using the user licence first. I'm not sure though and am not factory resetting my console to find out.

Just as a heads up, I would not just delete your account from the Xbox before selling it, I would do a factory reset and clear the cache. Maybe that's just me being paranoid.
