Xbox Live Friends List Doesn't Show Anyone on Console

My friend list on XboxOne shows no friend and is blank unless I search for old friends->remove them->then readd...but this still doesn't solve issues that occur within the in-game friends list for invites on the Halo/CoD/Fornite dashboard etc. On the computer
it shows I have 150+ friends and their status but even there it doesn't perform correctly. This issue has been occurring for me since November 10th, 2015, I have been sent to the escalation team three times and they still have not fixed my issue. They simply
close my case and say "wait until another update". Obviously, I have been waiting almost 4 years to no avail. For someone who has owned an Xbox Live account for 15 years it is very discouraging because if you can not store friends on your "Friends List" how
do you send invites/messages/chats....why even play Xbox Live? I have tried the powercycle every which way, have removed my account, have tried to remove my account-powercycle-then readd account, soft console factory reset, hard factory reset, and even direct
messaging Bill Gates (he didn't respond). I need a wizard to do what needs to be done so I can experience Xbox Live the way it is meant. I add a few of my friends back over time and then try to remove my account to see if the fix has occurred and then all
my friends disappear again...quite a headache.

I made another Xbox account that functions perfectly on the same Xbox, but it doesn't suffice for my old tag. So it is not a console problem. I believe it has something to do with my gamertag thinking it is on a Xbox360 or something...I have no idea.

Please help. Please send a Xbox Wizard.

I wouldn't even be mad if they could send me a list of my friends list, then reset my list so I could go through and readd them, and if I recovered my tag again it wouldn't go back to messing up with zero friends listed.

I believe it it definitively a problem with the profile, since my other account works great on my Xbox and when I recover my GT on my friends Xbox it doesn't perform. I escalated it again today by following the Contact Us link provided, thank you. My guess
is that my cases get closed because the techs are monitored/timed to fulfill issues and when it is a true headache that takes awhile they might get ducted for it...so they close the case to get it off their plate. Simply getting an issue escalated is an absolute
pain, and then the multiple calls/photos/emails, etc. It is a big undertaking that is a burden so I often don't have the energy to escalate it immediately afterwards so I wait for their "...next update to resolve the issue."

After looking it up online (YouTube) though it appears there are a lot of gamers in the world that have this persistent issue too, one that the reset doesn't solve. You can read the comments on YouTube videos from back in 2015 too, with same issues. Seems
that Xbox needs to devote a bit more time to promoting these customer satisfaction.

sorry to hear. If the computer/mobile/xbox-webside shows everything fine but the console not: Your console causing the problem and I am guessing it is a failure at the harddisk/setup. A reset with the internal setup files does not help much. Please try an

"OFFLINE Setup via USB"!

And if the Update Fails -> you know your HDD is defect, If the error reappear -> your account is defect

Do you believe this route will work even if I have another account on this xbox that works perfectly?

My recommendation is based on the experience that there are consoles that still do not work correctly with a normal reset. The easiest way is to check on a friend's console if it's on the account. However, if a Microsoft Agent | Moderator (who should have
the most experience) recommends contacting the support, you should also walk this way.
