    Well I think that Xbox LIVE Multiplayer should be free since Xbox LIVE Free account holders don't get to experience the fun of Multiplayer and people who agree with me who don't have a Xbox LIVE Gold Account they don't want to do it once a year they probably
    want to do it for as long as they have there Xbox LIVE account.

    Xbox Live Confusion?

    Xbox Live is free.

    You can make a Gold account, or a Silver account.

    The Gold account gives you access to access to play online, along with free monthly games and weekly deals. This has a fee.

    The Silver account gives you access to Xbox Live and apps, but you just can't play online or get the free games. This is free.

    You’ve not needed a Gold account to use those apps since 2014. But you do need a Xbox Live free (used to be called Silver) account. So just create a new free one for it. MS will give you a free Outlook one and its not like you need to use it afterwards. Though it is always handy to have throw away accounts.

    FREE accounts have limited access to XBL and no access to the multiplayer aspect in games. You would need to upgrade your FREE account to a GOLD account if you plan to play games online with friends/family/complete strangers.

    I would recommend using pre-paid cards and also for your safety I recommend you take a few minutes to read and practice

    You're still showing up as a free member here. It sometimes takes a few minutes to update. I recommend downloading your account or testing your Xbox Live connection to possibly expedite the update.

    Xbox Live subscription codes are region free, points codes are region specific.

    But

    I recommend you buy prepaid Gold Subscription cards for the region that your account is listed in. :)

    I have a Gold Xbox live account and have created profiles for my wife and two boys. They can play all of the games I have downloaded to my Xbox.

    You can either purchase a family Xbox Live Gold account or get them the free Silver accounts. I do recommend investigating the settings for your children. I have it set so they cannot play online.

    Xbox One    . The game should be free as long as the Xbox Live Gold subscription is up to date. The

    subscription section     of the Microsoft account will show if the subscription is still active. Does Battlefield 1 appear to be free on the Xbox website
    while you are signed in to your account?
