Xbox live for xbox one down again

All the time that's a but of an exaggeration.

 

it just seems to be around patch time, that's my observation on it anyway, guess they might have to take various services down over the course of the day/night/days to get all aspects of the patch to apply properly especially if they change core live things
or settings that cant be changed while online kinda like the pc restarting malarky?

i'm just pissin in the river here and trying to make an educated guess, could be just the service is crap but hey my version sounds better lol

 

I'm thinking that's the case as well... but what kind of patch would require the service to go down when other recent updates haven't?

 

^^ Plus there have been times when they've warned us that LIVE was going to be down for "x" amount of time. This time they didn't. It's the Nokia people getting revenge for their future lay-offs.

Well, that at least explains my roster issue while playing in the Destiny beta - I kind of figured it was the case when I couldn't acess my friends or activity feed on the home screen... Oh well, let me know when it's up and running again.

I feel like I'm flipping a coin when seeing if I can log in. Then I have a 50/50 chance of another connection error when trying to join a game of Titanfall. If I'm trying to join a friends game then I'd say it works one out of every 4 times. Very annoying.
On the other hand, I'm quite pacified and placated by the informative messages provided in the Xbox Live Status updates. "Things are broke right now... More info in 30 minutes." 30 minutes later: "We’re diligently working to get everything back to normal."
Very reassuring Microsoft. A major multinational, and you don't even have an excuse for so many outages and lapses in your end of the bargain concerning our Live subscriptions. You don't feel remotely compelled to explain to your customers what keeps going
wrong? You’re diligently working to get everything back to normal, like Congress is. When might we expect to see 7 consecutive days without an outage or failure of some kind with the Xbox Live accounts. People pay for these services and deserve an explanation
at a minimum, if not partial refunds on their Live fees. I'd settle for a lame corpo excuse at this point. Sorry for the rant, but the response to these outages from Microsoft are pathetic.

 

Yeah its definitely more frequent than it used to be.... Lets hold off on these big monthly updates until your system is stable enough that this rarely happens like it used to be. If next month I saw a stability update and nothing else I would be happy.
