Xbox live five star rep

Hi guys my xboxlive rep the five star rep shown on my gamer card was almost at five stars but I was avoided today for absolutely no reason and my stars have fallen to four and a half. Is it possible to get this fixed because I do not want a gamertag with
less than five star rep. I saved the video and a message I got after the game from the player which as it seems avoided me simply because I am a better player. Any advise on this would be nice thank you. I was under the impression that if a new profile was
avoided the rep jumps up to five stars automatically but as I say this has not happened to this profile. Instead it has dropped to four stars.

Resetting undeserved bad reputation for Xbox Live

It's a shame that other players serm to enjoy placing an "Avoid me" label on others. I used to have a five star and 1 rep. Now however I only have five star reputation. By the way, what does the "1" on the player rep mean? Anyways, I'm sorry but as I have
the same issue as you @Spinergy02, I can not assist you. Sorry and I hope your reputation goes back up. I wouldn't worry too much as you already have five stars. Just ignore those players who leave bad player reviews for no reason.

 

Rep Points.

Even if you get negative rep, the star system is broken and will remain a five. It rare that you see anyone who has played online for a while have positive rep, especially if you play games like Cod, Halo and Gears alot.

 

Suck more... in this age of "everybody gets a trophy" being average will get you 5 stars. My only real advice is keep on smiling.

 

Yes I'm well aware of that, I have multiple accounts that have xboxlive. I am a two time inheritor in halo reach and because I'm so much better than everyone else I get avoided like wild fire. It's honestly pathetic how abused the player review system is.
It doesn't even work I constantly end up paired with players I have avoided. Why doesn't Microsoft just plain ditch it, it's not fair that just because your a good player your rep suffers. Especially in this case where my account is now doomed to be stuck
at maybe in time three stars of rep.

No one "official" reads these forums & even if they did there's nothing they can do,no one can alter your rep.

It is completely broken on the 360.Only thing you can do is just carry on playing online & it will go back up.

 

If you have good relations with the gamers currently on your friends list, you might message them and kindly ask them to "prefer" you. If they have not submitted a player review on your gamertag within the past year or so (I'm not certain at what point
it resets), they will be able to submit a fresh one and maybe help refill that final star with gold.

Talus ... That is exactly what I did. But as I only have eight friends on this profile I'm not sure if it will be enough.

It seems as though my rep stars have gone up to five with the help of some great players I have met in game and also my friends. I am not going to stop yet and will try to get another five preferred player reviews.

Fingers crossed that it doesn't drop again. Such a broken system that because players abuse it that this profile my never get five star rep.

 

As it seems just looking at it in this post it is not up to five stars yet it does have a tiny bit to go. So may the five good rep reviews will seal the deal. God I hate the rep system. Everyone is always quick to avoid and never to prefer. It's a rule I
myself am guilty of I have to say but I do atleast make the effort to prefer when it warrants it.

Sorry, I don't see that connection at all. Because the player review system is (allegedly) tied to game matchmaking, I always give positive player reviews to the people on my friends list. Those are the people I am most interested in gaming with. If the
system works, then we are more likely to end up in the same game lobbies. (I know for some games you can join your friend in game, but that doesn't always work due to lobby status.)

I made the suggestion in this case as the friends list is the most logical place to go for a positive player review. Since you can only submit a review once a year, or perhaps even less, it's not really possible to spam the system. (Though you can change
your review at any time from positive to negative or vice versa.) I occasionally review my friends list to make sure my friends are preferred. If it has been long enough that the review has been reset, then I submit a new positive review.

Since some gamers completely ignore the player review system, I thought it might be worth a try for the original poster to prompt his friends to give him a review to help in his issue. Frankly, I don't even know if a review submitted by a given gamer after
their very first review has any impact on the gold stars, but he might as well try.

 

ANYONE you play with on-line can put in a review/file a report. Friends don't really matter as much as the random people you may play with.

 

i dont think the player reviews have anything to do with your 5 star reps. i have around 87% people avoiding me and yet i have 5 stars lol
