Xbox Live features are missing or corrupt

I keep getting a message saying:

Some Xbox 360 features are missing or corrupt.

A system update is required yo replace them.

Your console will now restart.

But when it restarts my console it turns off then the power button on the console turns a solid red. This is my 3rd console in 3 months all 3 consoles has had this problem, the mesasage first pops up when I try to install games but now it will pop
up if I try sending message, checking friends list I also get the error message when I'm not connected to Xbox Live I unplug the ethercable and try it offline but the error message still pops up

Updates

I'm keep getting asked to do a update on my Xbox and than I get a message saying some of my features are missing or corrupt . Can someone please help me !!

"Xbox 360 features missing or corrupt."

At first it wasn't letting me do anything, so it was the system, not the disk. What I did, and this fixed the problem, was delete any game, app, video, etc data that wasn't in use anymore, corrupted, or nay, delete the update, install one on the flash drive,
extract that three times, let it run on my little brother's random game, and see if it froze after five minutes. It worked off of live. I then let it sit for a day so that live wouldn't crash my system with people flooding the servers with their holiday gifts.
It was okay, and then I tried it with Black Ops. Worked perfectly, until I got to one section of the campaign, when a scratch on the disk froze the system. Repaired the disk and it runs smoothly now.

I honestly don't have a legit individual remedy that redressed my xbox's issues, but it's up and running smoothly now.

Hey Corruption -

Do you have a current Xbox Live Gold subscription on this Xbox Live account? If you're seeing a price for the game, that may be an indication that your Xbox Live account is missing a Gold subscription which you would need to access features like Games with
Gold.

Double check and let us know.
