    xbox live family sharing is messed up


    As far as playing on a single account xbox hasn’t given me any major problems but with a family in xbox and multiple accounts there are multiple problems. The main problem is sharing xbox gold with the family. it says it’s supposed to work and sometimes it does but when it doesn’t it’s really frustrating. for example, another account in my family can’t use my xbox live even though mine is the home xbox and I have it. what makes it more confusing is that another account in my family CAN use it but not the other one. if anyone knows how to fix this or has the same problem let me know

    Actually Viva, Make the new console ( or what ever console you put in the living room) your " Home" console. when you do that up to (10?) people can share your games, apps, AND Xbox live gold privilege to play games! So your family can all have their own
    accounts, and not mess up you K/D ;)

    Game sharing with 'friends' is not something you can expect main support will help you with. Sharing is supposed to be for within households/families. Not with mates so you can avoid paying for games.

    There are plenty of places online where you can find further info - bear in mind if you mess up your home xbox settings trying to share games Xbox support will NOT be able to fix it!

    So sharing Gold with his family account will do the trick.. That sounds great, I have the Ultimate.

    I will Google how to but IF you have a quick guide / link you can share on how to exactly not mess it up, that would be greatlyappreciated!
