Xbox Live Extras App issue

For some reason, the Xbox Live Extras app is not downloading on my phone. The message says that either it is not permitted in my region or my phone is not updated. I live in Pakistan, my phone is a Lumia 520 and have the Windows 8.1 OS. Is the app prohibited
in my country?

Can anyone help me out on this one?

Xbox Live Extras "not available for device" after 8.1 update?!

Bought a new phone for my wife a couple days ago and notice the Xbox Live Extras was not on the Marketplace. I updated my Lumia 1520 last night and while the Xbox part still functions, the avatar stuff and whatever else associated with that XL Extras app
don't and I get prompted that the app isn't available for my device

Xbox 360 continually disconnects from Xbox Live while using the Netflix app

Sounds like an App issue rather than an Xbox Live issue if everything else is working. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

I believe this app was discontinued.

Edit: If you are using a link to the app and haven't downloaded it before it will most likely fail.

If you have previously owned the app, then check in "my apps" in the marketplace (open the 3 dots ...) to re-download it.

hey just found out you can do it online at the xbox site, or if you got the windows phone you can do it on the xbox live extra app

A lot of people are having this issue, it won't launch from the Xbox (Beta) app, but it launches perfectly fine from both the Xbox Console Companion app, and from the Start menu itself. It's an extra step needed to launch the game, but that should help
you get into the game until they resolve the issue with the app.

You have to set up your home console for the account with gold. Once you make the Xbox One your home console , then it will share gold with all on that console. I don't think anyone is paying for Gold xbox Live for the free games for gold, just like the various apps and entertainment features, the free games are just a bonus.

You pay for gold to play on xbox live, currently downloading Tomb Raider for free is just a nice extra.
