xbox live expansion installer?

Just found this in my games. All it says is Xbox Live Expansion Installer... going to game details reveals nothing. I have no idea what this "expansion installer" actually does. If anyone out there has any info on what this is I'd love to know. Thanks.

Redeeming game expansion code link to xbox 360 or xbox live account?

I was wondering if I were to redeem my Destiny Expansion pass code on one xbox. but the other xbox doesn't have the expansion. If I log into my xbox live account on the xbox without the expansion will the content be available for me? or would both xbox's
need the expansion redeemed on it even though I redeemed it through xbox live?

Xbox Live Gold Family on 2 Xbox, DLC issues

I have 2 Xbox 360 and 1 Xbox Live Gold Family Subscription. The issues I am having is with the DLC, specifically for Black Ops. I have purchased 2 Black Ops discs, one for each Console. I have purchase the expansion packs for Black Ops (only once). I
purchased expansion pack 1 (EP1) on Console 1 with the Xbox Live Gold Family. I purchased expansion pack 2 (EP2) on Console 2 with the Xbox Live Gold Family. I am unable to use EP1 on Console 2 or EP2 on Console 1. I have tried to recover all gamertags
to each console, however, am still unable to use specific Expansion Packs on said consoles. I am not even given the option to purchase the Expansion Packs again because they have already been purchased by the Xbox Live Gold Family subscription. Anyone, any
help?

I installed Dragon's Dogma a little while back... but, this popped up after an xbox live update as far as I can tell. I never saw this in my games after installing Dragon's Dogma. Has this happened to you too?

when pre bought mine on live and installed on launch day both expansions did install

I uninstalled the expansion packs and left the pass installed.

The dark below content still worked because the expansion pass was installed

I was able to play for 4 hours last night and had no problems.

It's too early to say if that is the cause as it just could be coincidence.

But if you own the expansion pass and have also installed the individual expansions just uninstall them as the expansion pass is all that is needed to use the expansions. The individual expansions are only 9MB files anyway. They are probably just unlock
keys and can be deleted if you have the expansion pass installed.

I'll be playing Destiny again tonight so will have to see if it happens again. Hopefully it wont.

If the expansions are on a disc, then just put the disc in, and the expansions will install as if you were installing an Xbox one game. If they are digitally owned, then you need to move to fallout 3, press menu on the Xbox controller & select manage game.
Your add-ons should show up ready to be installed.
