Xbox live enforcement

Xbox live keeps banning me from voice communication and sending messages.I was just playing gears of war 4 tonight,someone on the opposing team continuously teabags me in game,i send him a message and i get banned while he is free to go.I filed a complaint
on him too but i highly doubt anything happened to him because he did not send me a message.I could even understand getting a ban from sending messages but how is it fair for me to get banned from voice communication as well seeing as how i do not voice communicate
with anyone else i dont know i am always in my own parties therefore never voice chat others anything at all and yet I get banned.Paying for a service like this really makes me question its worth and whether or not i'd be willing to purchase such an unfair
and flawed service again.

If someone harasses you on xbox live just report that person or block him/her from further abuse. Retaliating is an infraction of the Code of Conduct and subject to enforcement acts.

It's my understanding that the Enforcement team does not follow this forum. May I recommend that you go to and sign in at the "Enforcement Team" webpage and see if you can file for a "Case Review".

You could as well ask if "normal people" can arrest other people and put them in jail.

The answer is no.

Normal people/xbox live players can report people to the police/Xbox Live Enforcement, and then there is an investigation.

If the police/Xbox Live Enforcement find that the reported person broke the law/Xbox Live Code of Conduct, the police/Xbox Live Enforcement will arrest/suspend the person that broke the rules.

So normal people can report, but not actually ban people. The banning is done by real people in the Xbox Live Enforcement team after reviewing evidence that is usually automatically sent in with the report.

Was it an in game ban or an Xbox Live account ban? If in game, then you will need to contact Activision, but if Xbox Live account ban, you should check on the Xbox enforcement website here https://support.xbox.com/help/family-online-safety/enforcement/enforcement-history
